    I can’t find the swords or armors anywhere. I bet they are in chests that you already opened, so you have to start a new game to get them.

    To get back in to north aven, go to the quests log and abandon any open quests that you were given in north aven. Then you can enter north aven, talk to the quest giver(s) and complete the quests. I’m pretty sure the glitch is that if you pick up a quest in north aven that needs to be COMPLETED in north aven and you leave town, the game freezes when you try to get back there.
